New enginei EFMS Web Portal Delivers Array of User Improvements
Improved online control of international marine fleet operations is provided by engineering and propulsion specialist Royston’s enginei EFMS web portal, which has been significantly enhanced with a host of readily available features.
Offering comprehensive, user-friendly fuel data analysis and reporting options, enginei is an advanced fuel monitoring system installed as part of a comprehensive suite of digital marine technologies, designed to offer enhanced long-term operational efficiency and performance.
Significant enhancements have been completed by Royston to the online portal to provide improved user experience. A host of new and advanced features include graphic displays, reporting options and other tools to enable users to have immediate access to real time fuel data for individual vessels or across an entire fleet.
An improved toolbar includes a health check feature to allow the easier identification of vessels requiring immediate attention. The user can see at a glance the vessel, its location and activities independent of AIS, along with details of the specific alert raised by the engine health check system.
An enhanced ‘Bunkering Operations’ facility provides a summary of activity, which can be exported to a PDF document showing the details of the fuel loaded or discharged, the time the operation occurred and the geographical location of the event. The vessel’s latitude and longitude can also be displayed for faster and more effective identification of the bunkering location.
The ‘Timeline’ feature, introduced earlier in 2020 to provide greater clarity of vessel activity in a simple, easy-to-use format, has also benefitted from improvements together with an array of enhancements to boost both desktop PC and smartphone enginei user experience. The enginei Web Portal has been optimised to work with all modern web browsers, including both desktop and mobile devices.
